spreadsheet updated: 01/18/2010; Please visit our message board!
I am very happy to announce:
In our Documents and Sources section is the latest update to The Longshores in America © David Raese. This major update ver C. 111008 includes our most recent Longshore information.
I have uploaded a zipped GEDCOM consisting of all data from the www.ancestry.com "Longshore & Allied Familes" as of 01/18/2010 (See 1694-1930 page).
Note: this is a work in progress, any and all information you can provide is most heartily appreciated! I wish to thank everyone for their kind support and generous sharing of information especially Mr. D. Raese, Ms. J. Campbell, Mr. J. Sauls, Mrs. Maxine Longshore, Ms. Sherry Catron Thompson, and the late Ms. E. T. Ibarra. For those of you that don't have Excel, please follow this link to download the free viewer from the official Microsoft web-site, for a 30 day demo of Winzip (for the GEDCOM) I have included that link also.

Those of you desiring an invitation to view all Longshore data shown on the spreadsheet, with supporting documentation (census, military draft forms, social security documents etc.), please e-mail me. I will be more than happy to give you guest status (no charge) to view the many hours of data I have input onto "Longshore and Allied Families" on www.ancestry.com. You do not need a pay membership to view, although they will ask you to create a login/password.
Pease visit http://genforum.genealogy.com/longshore/ or http://boards.rootsweb.com/surnames.longshore/mb.ashx?dc=50 in additon to our own forum. This is a free site, and I monitor it regularly. This will also allow you to interact with the many other Longshore family members online.
Thanks, John Leslie Longshore, Detroit, MI
